Football

SFA has an extremely competitive and elite football program with coaches that have a history of winning and producing collegiate and professional athletes

Our football program is developed and managed by a team of expert coaches, former professional athletes, and specialized trainers. Every student-athlete has the opportunity to prepare for the next level if they commit to doing what is necessary. SFA has relationships with some of the top universities in the nation. Students will participate in football camps and have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of collegiate coaches. This exposure is crucial as athletes work to obtain college.

TEAMS

SFA Academy football features two highly competitive varsity teams: SFA and SFA Yellow, ensuring that each student-athlete is placed in the best program based on age, skill level, position, and long-term goals. Both teams will compete in the SSIA League that features some of the states toughest competition.

Team SFA

Led by head coach Ken Johnson in 2024, his team advanced to the state semifinals, and in 2023, we finished as state championship runner-up against IMG White. Our teams compete in the SSIA league, providing elite competition, development, and exposure to collegiate programs.

SFA Yellow

SFA Yellow, led by Head Coach Edwin “Remy” Guyton, will debut in the 2025-2026 school year, bringing another level of highly competitive varsity football to SFA Academy. This program is designed to provide elite training, skill development, and top-tier competition while ensuring student-athletes receive the guidance needed to excel both on and off the field.

Football Program

SFA football program places emphasis on overall player growth and development whose providing significant opportunities for collegiate exposure. Should be while each student athlete will have a strong support system from tutors, teachers, school leadership, healthcare and their coaches.

Our strength training program is one of the best in the state. Our student athlete will undergo two a day practices. Our program will imitate a collegiate football program. So when our student athletes are ready for college they are steps ahead of incoming athletes.

Our program sets a high standard for student athletes to have academic success, mental toughness, physical toughness, respect, honor, discipline, good character, appropriate attire, and to be leaders on and off the field.
