    Yes, Sfa Academy does provide free dual enrollment through a partnership with The University of South Florida (USF). This program allows high school students at SFA Academy to simultaneously earn college credits while completing their high school education. The partnership with USF offers a wide range of courses that provide students with a head start on their college education. Through the dual enrollment program, students have the opportunity to experience college-level coursework, enhance their academic skills, and explore potential career paths.     Our students now have access to budget-friendly meals with help from our community partners! Our students are also welcome to purchase lunch from outside restaurants and have it delivered to our campus. Game day meals are also made available free of charge for our student athletes.

  • Diploma/Graduation Requirements
    Students will earn a standard diploma from our school, just like they would any other traditional school. Our students will then have the opportunity to attend a college to which they’ve applied and received an acceptance letter to. Students must have received at least 24 credits for graduation. English 4 credits, Mathematics 4 credits, Science 3 credits, Social Studies 3 Credits, Foreign Language 2 credits, Electives 2 credits, Health and Phys Ed 1 credits. Fine or Performing Arts 1 credit, Financial Literacy .5 credits.
  • Do I have to play a sport to come to the school?
    No you do not, however, we encourage everyone to participate in some type of extracurricular activity
  • What is the cost of the school?
    We have affordable tuition for our students and we accept scholarships "Step Up For Students" which can help ensure there are no out of pocket costs for your son. We will help you apply for the scholarship. Please reach out to: Athletics@speciallyfitacademy.com or sfaprincipal@gmail.com as soon as possible. Participation in college camps are paid by you, directly to the hosting college. Fees range from $35-$75 depending on the university. Athletic fees are $300 per sport, which includes uniforms, equipment, transportation and hotel stays. You are responsible for incidentals such as food, spending money and recreational activities while out of town.

    While SFA Academy does not provide computers for students, we highly encourage students to bring their own laptops to utilize our innovative digital learning resources. Our curriculum is designed to integrate technology into the learning experience, and having a personal laptop allows students to fully engage with our various online platforms, research tools, and collaborative projects. Additionally, by using their own laptops, students can personalize their learning environment and have access to their work and study materials at any time, promoting a more flexible and independent approach to education.     At SFA Academy, we follow the Hillsborough County Florida Public School Calendar, which includes the dates for the start and end of the school year, holidays, professional development days, and any other important events. This ensures that our students and families are aligned with the local school district and can plan their schedules accordingly. Additionally, we may also have our own specific events and programs throughout the year, which will be communicated in advance to all our students and families.

  • What sports do you offer?
    We currently have elite varsity football, regional and national basketball basketball teams.
  • What is the dress code for students at SFA Academy?
    At SFA Academy, students are required to wear uniforms. This can include any color collared button-down or polo style shirt, SFA t-shirt, solid black, navy, gray, or khaki pants (belts are required), and shorts. Sneakers, casual shoes, and Crocs are allowed as footwear. However, we do not permit hoodies or any offensive graphics or text on t-shirts. Additionally, no face coverings, hats, beanies, skull caps, or scarves are allowed on campus. Our dress code policy is designed to maintain a professional and respectful learning environment for all students. Dress codes are strictly enforced.
